The Ace Of Spades - It's Surprising Where Inspiration Can Come From!
Lemmy Kilmister has
announced that Motorhead are postponing their upcoming European tour until early 2014 to allow him more
time to recover from a recent series of health woes.
The group was scheduled to begin the trek on Nov. 7 in
Zurich, Switzerland, but Lemmy has declared in a statement on the band’s official
Facebook page that he is “not quite
ready to hit the road yet.” The iconic rocker suffered a hematoma back in June, and
around that time it was also revealed that the singer and bassist had been
fitted with a defibrillator to help him
with undisclosed heart problems. He attempted to return to the stage in early
August, but was forced to cut the band’s Wacken Open Air Festival set short due
to a combination of 100-degree heat and
the lingering effects of his recent medical issues.
Lemmy may well have delayed the Tour until 2014 but, now we know where his original inspiration came from. And why not indeed?
Get well soon Lemmy!
